01Set up your booking page in two minutes

2 min read

You don't need a website or a free evening. Open Daynup, answer a few questions, and you'll have a link clients can book from before your next client sits down.

  1. Tell it what you do. Pick your kind of work, from hair and barbering to nails, massage, training or tutoring, and answer three quick questions. Daynup fills in your first service, like "Cut & finish". Change the name, length, price and where it happens. You can add more later in Your page → Services.
  2. Say your hours out loud. Tap Tap and talk and say it the way you'd tell a friend: "Tuesday to Saturday, ten till six, break at one." Your week appears for you to check, and nothing is saved until you confirm. Rather not talk? Pick a ready-made week or set each day by hand. Working with others? Add a colleague with their own hours.
  3. Choose who can book. Anyone with my link books instantly. With Regulars instantly, new people ask, first-timers send a request and you approve them with one tap. Only my clients keeps your book private. New people confirm their mobile number with a 6-digit code by WhatsApp or text, and there's nothing for them to download. You can change this any time in Your page → Who can book.
  4. Publish and share your link. Tap Publish my page and you're live. Share the link on WhatsApp, Instagram or Messages. Daynup writes the message, and you can edit it. Put the link in your Instagram bio and your WhatsApp status too. QR codes are coming soon.

Tip: add your regulars first. When you choose who can book, tap Add regulars from Contacts and pick them one by one. They can book you instantly from day one, and nobody gets a message.

02Fewer no-shows, without chasing anyone

2 min read

Most no-shows aren't rude. People forget, or something comes up and moving feels like a hassle, so they just don't come. No app can make everyone turn up, but Daynup makes remembering easy, and moving easier than not showing up.

  1. Switch on reminders. In Your page → Reminders, turn on a WhatsApp reminder the day before, with a one-tap way to move, and a text two hours before.
  2. Let clients move themselves. Every booking comes with the client's own link to move or cancel, so they can pick another free time instead of going quiet. Set the rules on the Hours tab, under Booking rules: how much notice you need, the gap between clients, and until when cancelling is free: any time, or up to 48 hours before.
  3. Ask new people to confirm first. If your no-shows mostly come from people you don't know, choose Regulars instantly, new people ask in Your page → Who can book. New people confirm their number with a code before they can ask, and you approve with one tap. Regulars still book straight in.
  4. Keep the day in view, and note what happens. Your calendar shows who's next. Check people in as they arrive, and anyone who hasn't come after their start time shows as late. If someone doesn't come at all, open the booking and tap Mark as no-show. It shows on their client page, so you'll spot a pattern before you take their next booking.

Tip: need to move someone yourself? Open their booking, tap Move and send them the link. They pick a new time from the ones offered, with no back-and-forth.

03Moving over from another booking app

2 min read

Switching sounds like a weekend job. It isn't. Bring your regulars, let the old app finish what's already booked, and point people to your new link. Mostly, your clients will notice that booking got easier.

  1. Bring your regulars from your contacts. In Clients → + From Contacts, pick people one by one. Daynup saves their name and number, and they can book you instantly. Nobody gets a message. If you shared only some contacts with Daynup, you can choose more at any time.
  2. Leave booked clients where they are, and copy their times across. Don't cancel anyone: let bookings already in your old app happen there. So that Daynup never offers those times to someone else, add them to your Daynup calendar. Tap the time and book the client, or with Daynup AI, just say it: "Book Anna on Thursday at 3."
  3. Put your new link where clients look. Your Instagram bio, your WhatsApp status, your Google Business Profile, and anywhere else people find you. Then send your regulars the link. Your page → Share writes the message for you.
  4. Close the old app once it's empty. When the last booking made there has passed, turn off online booking in the old app and cancel its subscription. From then on, your whole week lives in one calendar.

Tip: moving a bigger list? There's no file import in the app. Write to and we'll help you move it over.
